Thrasher, Wise back Bradley for Senate

Northeast Florida's political establishment continues to line up behind state Senate candidate Rob Bradley.

State Sens. John Thrasher and Steve Wise, both Republicans, announced support Wednesday of the Republican candidate, a Clay County lawyer.

"I know Rob will take his local conservative principles to Tallahassee to serve the people of Northeast and North Central Florida with the upmost integrity and transparency," Thrasher said in a joint statement released with Wise.

Bradley also picked up the endorsement of two other Republicans, State Attorney Angela Corey and Public Defender Matt Shirk. His campaign is touting a $70,000 fundraising quarter, but specific numbers have not yet been released.
