Bradley Raises More Than $70,000 in 1st Quarter of 2012
Tallahassee, Fla. – Republican Candidate Rob Bradley today announced that he has received contributions of more than $70,000 during the first quarter of 2012 in his campaign for the newly-drawn Florida Senate seat, which includes Clay, Alachua and Bradford Counties.
“I am grateful for the overwhelming encouragement and support that I am receiving for my campaign for Florida Senate,” said Bradley. “As I meet with Republicans in our local communities, I am hearing that they want a strong, conservative leader to represent them in Tallahassee. They want someone who can help build a future with stronger families and businesses, better education and a more responsive government for our Northeast and North Central Florida communities. And, I share these same ideals.”
“I thank all of my supporters for their warm reception, and I look forward to continuing to build more relationships throughout my campaign with the voters in Alachua, Bradford and Clay Counties. I am ready to serve our community in the Senate, and I am committed to standing up for conservative values and small government ideals and fighting for the needs of our local communities.”
Bradley is a former criminal prosecutor who is now the managing partner of the Orange Park law firm of Kopelousos and Bradley, P.A. He also currently serves on the board of directors for Northeast Florida Community Hospice, the board of directors for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and received a gubernatorial appointment to the board of trustees of St. Johns River State College. In 2007, Bradley was appointed by the Governor to the Clay County Board of County Commissioners, where he spearheaded the largest property tax reduction in Clay County history and fought for more honest, accountable government by drafting the County’s first Ethics Code. Shortly thereafter, Bradley ran for and won the first-ever Clay County Commission Chairman position in 2008 with a record number of votes. Bradley’s extensive record of public service includes serving as chairman of the board of management of YMCA Barco-Newton, president of the Clay County Bar Association and a member of the Clay County Charter Review Commission. Bradley received his Juris Doctor and his Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication from the University of Florida (UF). While attending UF, Bradley met his wife of 17 years, Jennifer. They currently reside in Fleming Island, Fla., with their three children, where they attend the Orange Park United Methodist Church.
