State Elected Leaders Voice Support for Rob Bradley for Florida Senate
Senator John Thrasher & Senator Steve Wise Endorse Rob Bradley for Florida Senate

Orange Park, Fla. – Clay County Business Owner and former County Commissioner Rob Bradley today announced that Senator John Thrasher (R-St. Augustine) and Senator Steve Wise (R-Jacksonville) have endorsed him in his candidacy for the newly-drawn Florida Senate seat, which includes Clay, Alachua and Bradford Counties.

“Rob is just the candidate to serve the constituents of the newly-drawn Senate seat,” said Senator Thrasher, who currently represents Northeast Floridians in the Florida Senate.  “I know Rob will take his local conservative principles to Tallahassee to serve the people of Northeast and North Central Florida with the upmost integrity and transparency.  I support Rob in his bid for the Senate.”

“When I heard Rob was running for the Senate, I was excited for our local communities,” said Senator Wise, who currently represents Clay County in the Florida Senate.  “He is a strong Republican candidate who will look out for our public education system, a key issue that I hold dear for the families of our local communities and our great state.  I look forward to seeing him on the campaign trail, and give him my full support.”

Bradley is a former criminal prosecutor who is now the managing partner of the Orange Park law firm of Kopelousos and Bradley, P.A. He also currently serves on the board of directors for Northeast Florida Community Hospice, the board of directors for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid and received a gubernatorial appointment to the board of trustees of St. Johns River State College.  In 2007, Bradley was appointed by the Governor to the Clay County Board of County Commissioners, where he spearheaded the largest property tax reduction in Clay County history and fought for more honest, accountable government by drafting the County’s first Ethics Code.  Shortly thereafter, Bradley ran for and won the first-ever Clay County Commission Chairman position in 2008 with a record number of votes.  Bradley’s extensive record of public service includes serving as chairman of the board of management of YMCA Barco-Newton, president of the Clay County Bar Association and a member of the Clay County Charter Review Commission.  Bradley received his Juris Doctor and his Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication from the University of Florida (UF).  While attending UF, Bradley met his wife of 17 years, Jennifer. They currently reside in Fleming Island, Fla., with their three children, where they attend the Orange Park United Methodist Church.
